Understanding QuickTrade's Fee Schedule for International Instruments
QuickTrade, Inc. is here to help you navigate the world of trading with our international instruments, including US Equity CFDs, Index CFDs, Margin FX, and Commodity CFDs. To make sure you're aware of the costs involved, we've outlined our commission fees, interest rates, and overnight funding charges below.
**Commission Fees**
- For US Equity CFDs, we charge a commission of 0.6% in and out with no minimum fee. This is still lower than what most of our competitors charge.
- For Index CFDs, Margin FX, and Commodity CFDs, the commission is charged in points and varies depending on the specific instrument. You can find the commission rates in our product schedule.
**Interest on Free Margin**
- We calculate the interest on your free margin based on the prevailing rate from FNB. This interest is calculated daily and credited to your trading account at the end of each month.
**Overnight Funding**
- If you keep your trading position open overnight, we will either charge or pay you interest, depending on whether you're in a long or short position.
**Long Funding:** We calculate this as contract value * SAFEY rate + 3% * (1 day / 365 days). This charge applies for each day the position remains open, including weekends and public holidays.
**Short Funding:** This is calculated as contract value * SAFEY rate - 3% * (1 day / 365 days). You receive this payment for each day the position is open, including weekends and public holidays.
- For FX CFDs, we consider the interest rate differential between the two currencies, and an overnight adjustment may apply.
