1:1000 spreads can change due to market volatility. To further protect client assets, QuickTrade (Pty) Ltd has decided to adjust its leverage levels, taking into consideration account balances, to ensure that clients are provided with optimal trading conditions while reducing potential risks.

Under the new leverage levels, clients with an account balance of R0 to R39,999 will have a leverage level of 500:1, while those with R40,000 or more will have a leverage level of 100:1. These changes will be effective one business day after they are communicated to clients or published on QuickTrade (Pty) Ltd's website on 31 August 2021.

In the event that a client does not agree with the new leverage levels, QuickTrade (Pty) Ltd allows them to cancel their current client agreement by providing a written notice within five business days prior to the effective date. During this period, the client must close out all their current transactions and will not be allowed to enter into any new transactions.

If a client does not provide notice of cancellation or closes their account before the effective date, it is deemed that they have accepted the new leverage levels. Any transactions entered into using the trading platform after the effective date will be governed by the new leverage levels.

QuickTrade (Pty) Ltd strives to provide its clients with the best possible trading conditions while also ensuring that risks are kept at a minimum. The company hopes that these adjustments to leverage levels will better serve its clients and reduce the potential risks associated with trading.
