JSE CFD’s will no longer be offered by QuickTrade on the trading platform

 HOW DOES THE NOTICE AFFECT YOU, THE TRADER?

JSE CFD’s will no longer be offered by QuickTrade on the trading platform as of 31 March 2022. This includes the data provided for JSE CFD’s.

As of 1 March 2022, clients will not be allowed to enter any JSE CFD positions on MT5. 

Clients will therefore only be able to close their current JSE CFD open positions on MT5.

Clients will have time to close any open JSE CFD positions until 13H00, 31 March 2022.

If positions aren’t closed by 13H00 on the 31 March 2022, QuickTrade has the right to close any open JSE CFD trades, regardless of whether the position is in a profit or loss. Any profits accruing to the trader will be paid into the trader’s account. The trader will be liable to pay QuickTrade for any losses incurred following the close-out of any JSE Equities CFD positions. 

QT will close the positions after 13H00 on the 31st March 2022 on the client’s behalf, if the client has not closed his JSE CFD position/s.

The client’s trading account will remain in the Commissions group, affording him the opportunity to trade all other instruments on offer. 

Clients have the option to move to the 1:100 or 1:500 spreads group. 

US CFD’s margin list is available on the QuickTrade website.

All Traders with funded trading accounts will continue to receive trading signals.
