We can NOT verify your profile until such time as we have collected, reviewed and approved your FICA/KYC documents. We are under a legal obligation by the Regulator to prove that we have done so. Please upload the required FICA/KYC documentation. If you are creating a profile as an Individual, you will need to upload the following documentation.

  • A Copy of your ID/Passport
  • A Proof of Address

Once our FICA Department has reviewed the uploaded documents, you will receive an SMS and email notifying you of the approval. Similarly, if your documents have not been approved for some reason, you will receive an SMS and email notification. This notification will include the reason why the documents were declined. You will be able to upload replacement documents but please note that your profile will NOT be created until the FICA Department has approved your documents.

If you need assistance with this step of the process, our Support Department or your Account Manager can assist. Use the Livechat Facility shown in the bottom right hand corner of this Client Portal to start chatting with them.


Your Profile can NOT be created until the Risk Department has reviewed and approved your Questionnaire and Appropriateness test.

We are required by the Regulator to assess both your trading experience and risk profile. We do this through a Questionnaire and Appropriateness Test that gets sent to our Risk Department to evaluate.

During this questionnaire, it is important that you acknowledge and accept that you are aware of the risks of trading. If you answer that you are unaware of the risks associated with trading, your Profile will be declined.


Once our FICA/KYC Department has reviewed and approved your documents and our Risk Department has reviewed and approved your Questionnaire and Appropriateness Test, your Profile will be marked as VERIFIED.

You will receive an SMS and email informing you that your Profile has been verified. You can now start using our services.

Ready To Trade


You can only open a Live Trading Account once your Profile has been verified.

You are able to open a maximum of 3 Live Accounts.

When you open a Live Trading Account, you will receive an SMS and email notification with the trading account login details, the server you will need to connect to and the currency you will be trading in. These details will need to be entered into the QuickTrade Metatrader 5 Trading Platform for you to be able to place a trade.

You will have the option of opening a Commission or Spreads account and can choose leverage of 1:100 or leverage of 1:500. You will also be able to choose to add JSE CFD’s to the instruments you are going to trade.

If you need support or assistance, you must make use of the LiveChat facility. You can also request assistance from your Account Manager or our Support Team.


We provide our clients with the MetaTrader 5 Trading Platform. You will use MT5 to do your technical analysis and to place your trades. You therefore have to download and install MetaTrader 5.

You can download and install as many copies of MetaTrader 5 as you like to, on as many devices as you want. It can be easily installed on your Windows PC, your iMac or MacBook. You can also download and install the iOS iPhone & iPad App and/or the Android Tablet & Mobile App.

QuickTrade holds a direct license for the use of the MetaTrader 5 trading platform with MetaQuotes Software Incorporated. We chose this platform because it is the most used worldwide. There are no fees associated with the download of this application.


When you open a Live trading account, you will not be able to place trades until your account is funded. We do not require a minimum deposit amount on your account, you are able to start trading with whatever amount you feel comfortable with. That said, the more you fund the account with, the easier it will be for you to open a variety of positions with different lot sizes.

Funding your account can be done in the Client Portal in two different ways - Direct Deposit or through our integrated Payment Service Providers.

It is important to note that Direct Deposits are not instantly allocated to your Live account as human intervention is required to allocate these funds and this can take time and could result in frustrations as you are not able to trade immediately.

Using one of our integrated Payment Service Providers is a much faster and more secure option. Depositing money this way means that your funds are credited to your account instantly, 24 hours a day. Once you have funded a Live account, you are able to transfer funds to another Live account.

Trading Experience


Understanding how the MetaTrader5 trading platform works is essential to your trading experience. If you do not understand the platform, you will not be able to place effective trades.

This is why we provide all QuickTrade clients with free MT5 training.

The MT5 training is done via ZOOM, allowing you to login from wherever you are.

Training sessions are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening for those using Windows PC’s. Training sessions are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday on how to use the mobile version of MT5.

It is our experience that when clients are exposed to other traders and given professional assistance, their own trading experience is more successful. It was with this in mind that we created our Trading Room. This is a room that clients can join via ZOOM to find support and advice. The room is hosted by our Trading Support Staff Team who have necessary qualifications and are licensed with the Regulator to give trading advice. They are available to help you identify any trading mistakes you might be making or answer any trading related questions you may have. We recommend that you take advantage of our Trading Room as you will be exposed to new and exciting trading opportunities and will be able to learn from the more experienced traders in the room.

Over the years, our qualified and Licensed Trading Support Team have become very good at evaluating the Financial Markets and identifying trading opportunities. This information is invaluable, and we share it with you, our valued clients, daily.

During the course of every trading day, FREE Trading Signals are sent to all clients who have FUNDED live trading accounts. You will find these FREE Trading Signals in your MT5 mailbox. You do not have to use the advice or information given in these FREE trading signals, but these trading signals are time sensitive as the Financial Markets are constantly changing and moving. It is possible that you could miss an opportunity if you wait too long or do not check your messages early enough.

Support Channels


As soon as you log into the Client Portal, you are assigned an Account Manager. All the contact details for your Account Manager is available in the main menu bar of the Client Portal. The role of your Account Manager is to educate and guide you on all the services that we provide as well as ensuring that you have access to these services. You will receive an introductory phone call from your Account Manager. During this call they will assess if you need more information about one of our courses, if you simply want to open a trading account or if you would like to become one of our Introducing Brokers. Your Account Manager can assist with all 3 of these things. Please make use of your Account Manager - they are there to help you!


We have a team of Support Staff who are on duty 7 days a week during our Support Hours. This team can be accessed easily and quickly through the LiveChat functionality found in the Client Portal. Through this LiveChat you will be able to chat directly with all our various Departments. You are also able to log a Help Desk Ticket requesting support. This can be done by logging into the Client Portal. The response time to these tickets will be much slower than the LiveChat response times, please keep this in mind when you decide which channel to use.


We want you to become the best trader that you can be, so that you can remain a long-term QuickTrade client. To make your experience with QuickTrade positive and lucrative, we offer all our clients a superior level of both support and service. It is important to us that you are meeting your trading goals and exceeding your expectations. There will be times that you lose money, either because you got a little too greedy or because you did not manage your risk correctly. Our Trading Support Team are available to help you manage these losses by offering advice and assistance so that you can understand where you went wrong.
